The current research program of the Translational Platform for Regenerative Medicine.
In TPRM we conduct research on stem cells and their application in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Our work focuses on analyzing MSC–NSC interactions in the stem cell niche, developing 3D cultures (spheroids, biomimetic scaffolds), isolating MSC subpopulations with high regenerative potential, and studying extracellular vesicles (EVs) as carriers of biological information. We work with in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models, using advanced molecular and cellular biology methods. Our goal is to develop new strategies to support nervous system regeneration. We offer attractive opportunities for professional growth for young researchers, PhD students, and specialists interested in stem cell biology, biomaterials, and translational medicine.
The area of the research in which the candidate would participate:
• basic research on mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSC) and neural stem cells (NSC);
