Documentation concerning conference travels:
• Application to the Institute’s Board of Directors for the consent for a foreign travel that should be submitted no later than 2 weeks before the travel and should include:
     - name of symposium/conference (program photocopy);
     - title of communication (paper, poster);
     - terms of payment for travel, entry fee, hotel, stay allowances and insurance.

Documentation for short-term research travels:
• Application to the Institute’s Board of Directors for the consent for travel (with the acceptance of the Head of the Department) that should include: invitation, terms of payment (travel, stay allowances, hotel, insurance);

Documents for travels under the equal exchange of specialists:
• Application to the Institute’s Board of Directors for the consent for a foreign travel that should be submitted no later than 6 weeks before the travel and should include: terms of payment for travel, insurance, travel allowance;

Trips lasting no more than 30 days are taken under delegation; trips lasting more than 30 days are taken under unpaid or holiday leave. In the case of trips lasting more than 30 days, one must submit an additional form with the information on leave confirmed by the HR Department. The Institute’s employees taking business trips abroad lasting more than 30 days are obliged to account for books and journals borrowed from the MMRI Library. (library clearance certificate)

Every employee of the Institute taking a business trip abroad is obliged to submit a report within 7 days after returning to the country. The above applies to (research) travels to which employees are delegated by the Institute, regardless of the method of financing.

All reports, apart from formal data such as:
• full name of foreign facility (in English);
• duration of stay;
• method of financing.
should include substantive description of research or training.

Multiple travels to the same foreign facility do not release from the obligation to submit reports on each stay. Employees doing long-term foreign internships are obliged to submit reports at the end of the calendar year.

Advance payments collected for the travel should be settled no later than 2 weeks after returning to the country (travel settlement).
